Helix Chain Staking

Helix Chain operates on a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism secured by 64 validators. Validators propose and attest to blocks, maintaining the integrity and security of the network. A minimum stake of 32 HLX is required to operate a validator node. Block finality is achieved every epoch, ensuring fast and reliable transaction confirmation.

How to Become a Validator

Follow these steps to run a Helix Chain validator node

1

Setup Hardware

Provision a server with minimum 4 CPU cores, 16 GB RAM, 500 GB SSD, and a stable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth.

2

Install Node Software

Install the Helix Execution Layer (Geth fork) and Consensus Layer client. Configure both to connect to the Helix Chain network using Chain ID 8088.

3

Generate Validator Keys

Use the Helix deposit CLI tool to generate your validator signing keys and withdrawal credentials. Securely back up your mnemonic phrase.

4

Deposit 32 HLX

Send exactly 32 HLX to the deposit contract to activate your validator. Once processed, your node will begin proposing and attesting to blocks.

Public Staking Delegation

Coming Soon

Delegate your HLX to existing validators without running your own node. Public staking delegation is currently in development and will allow any HLX holder to earn staking rewards by delegating their tokens to trusted validators in the network.
